=============================================
Opening Template file
Open HTML Editor (ie: FrontPage, Dreamweaver, NVU, composer etc etc) and locate folder.
Open Master.html file and do a Save As - as follows to make each page, which will automatically have your site linked together:
profile.html
partners.html
staff.html
specialities.html
locations.html
contactus.html
index.html - which will be the homepage!
The fonts and hyperlink colors are predefined with the CSS (style) sheet. The CSS is coloured coded inline with the templatestlye and design.
Do NOT alter table margins widths/sizes. They are pre-defined for the template to be fluid depending upon web browsers people view your website with.
**Do not make any changes to the master .html file in case you need to start from scratch again. The Master file is a "just-in-case-I-make-a-stuff-up" page you can go back to. :o))
===========================================
Installing Content
Content is to be added between the editible areas as defined on the master page. DO NOT alter margin widths for the page itself, or you will end up with your page doing some pretty funky things. ie: graphics misaligned, horizontal scrolls etc.
Images are not to exceed the table cells widths, and most images for web pages should be around 150 x 150 or 200 x 150 pixels. Save your images into the images folder inside your website folder.
The text and font size are pre-defined with the use of a .css (Style sheet). All you need to do is type and the font is automatically converted to the set style of the sheet. Make sure the style sheet is uploaded with the website.
===========================================
Uploading your website
When you are ready to FTP your website using Cute_FTP or WS_FTPpro or FTP Commander etc, ensure that all files are uploaded, including your CSS file AND images folder which house the images. (The .css file is needed to maintain the format and look of your entire website). We recommend: FTP Commander by www.internet-soft.com
Ensure you have the images folder on the server for the images, and the root directory folder for the html pages and Style (css) sheet.
===========================================
Good luck, and wishing you much success in business as you get your website 'live' on the World Wide Web.
